He explained along with the theme, "Young Generation in Creating Quality Broadcasts", the role of academics, especially students, was also very important.

"Many media, especially mainstream media are in Jakarta, they can participate in synergy with broadcasting institutions and the public," he explained.

They deserve a quality broadcast so standards need to be adhered to and get good supervision.

"I also want to provide input regarding the content in outdoor media in order to get supervision to prevent people from seeing negative broadcast material," he continued.

Central Indonesian Broadcasting Commission Commissioner, Nuning Rodiyah uttered that literacy is a necessity that is needed by the community, as it can increase people's access to television and radio broadcasts.

"By so, the public can also improve their analytical skills and choose good and quality content," she asserted.

Regarding broadcasts other than television and radio, through the revision of the broadcasting law, the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission and the regions could become part of the supervision.

"As stated by DPR Commission I Member, Mr. Dave Laksono, we hope that there will be a clearer and wider authority for the Broadcasting Commission in today's technological developments," she concluded.

DPR Commission I Member, Dave Laksono stated in Jakarta nowadays, digital broadcasting has been entered through an analog switch-off since November 2, 2022.

"This policy also opens space for the young generation to work and produce good and interesting content," he admitted.

He added the public also needs to continue to be educated in order to quickly believe news or information that has not been verified or is a hoax.

"Surely, it also needs the role of the community itself to be more selective with the information or news obtained," he added.

As for the information, the Literacy and Socialization event of the Broadcasting Commission's Broadcasting Content Monitoring Results which took place in the Jakarta City Hall Pattern Room is a series of activities for the Jakarta Broadcasting Expo (JBeX) 2022.
